How to dispose of bulky trash

Bulky trash refers to household items that are larger than 20,000 cm³ (width × height × depth) or larger than 50 centimeters on their longest side.Items longer than 200 centimeters on their longest side or heavier than 80 kilograms cannot be disposed of as bulky trash.

There are two ways to dispose of bulky trash:

Request pickup

• Apply via phone

Call the Bulky Items Reception Center (in Japanese only) to make a pickup reservation. The center will notify you of the fee, collection date and reception number.

• Apply via internet

Registration is required. Please check the following link:

 After the application, you will be notified by email within four opening days (except when the Bulky Items Reception Center is closed) regarding the fee, collection date, reception number, etc. The collection date is approximately one week to ten days after the application details have been confirmed.

　Note: Items not listed on the fee table cannot be applied online. If you would like to specify a collection day, please call the Bulky Items Reception Center to apply.

  1. The fee is to be paid by purchasing the bulky item disposal tickets (stickers). These tickets are sold at convenience stores or the like.

 

  2. Write the collection day and reception number on the bulky item disposal tickets and attach them to your bulky trash.

Set the item out at the usual collection site by 8 a.m.on the collection day.

Collection is conducted between Monday and Friday (not on weekends, national holidays, and

between December 29 and January 3).

Bring your items to the Clean Center yourself

You can bring bulky trash to the Clean Center (garbage-processing facility) directly and dispose of it for a fee.No application needed.
Note:Be sure to bring a document that proves you live in Urayasu City (residence card, driver’s license, etc.).

Hours

Monday to Saturday, 9 to 11 a.m.and 1 to 4 p.m.
Open on national holidays. You cannot bring in items on Sundays or between December 31 and January 3. On December 29 and 30, the center is only open between 9 to 11 a.m.(if the 29th or 30th falls on a Sunday, the center will be closed.)
